Here is something’s we have been up to in Year 6.
– Conker counting. We wanted to break the world record for the biggest Conker collection. We all brought in as many conkers as we could find. During a maths lesson we came up the best method to count them. We counted 10,403 conkers. We even made it into the south London press. unfortunately our record didn’t count because the world record people had to see them. Never mind. It was fun anyway!
– Making river models. Our topic was rivers and erosions we made models of rivers and waterfalls in groups of 5/6. We used clay, paper machier, card and boxes. We planned it first then got on with the making! Some of our parents came in to help.
