Learning about light in the dark

We investigated a variety of statements about light in our science lesson this week. Some children tried to work out why it was necessary to shine a torch through a hole in a sealed box to see what was inside. Others investigated why light splits into different colours when it passes through water. We had the main classroom lights switched off because we were conducting experiments with torches. This made it quite hard to take photographs!
