This week we started our new theme 'The Wild' and we are beginning by focusing on 'The Woods'. On Monday some mysterious footprints appeared in our outdoor area - we followed them to find the Gruffalo and all of his friends hiding in the woods! As the week went on, we learnt about all the different animals that we would find in the woods.
Conveniently, a squirrel was trying to steal all of our acorns from the sand area! We tried to entice him back by making a shelter for him with acorns and conkers inside.
