We learnt about the symbolism of a poppy and why people choose to remember on Remembrance Day. Then we discussed what the different colours represent (red, white, black and purple). Using materials we then made a poppy of our choice which we wore during the 2 minute silence to remember the ones who have been lost as well as peace among us.
