Year 6 today met a Buddhist monk who talked to us about his faith. His introduced us to the 5 basic rules of Buddhism which are:
- Do not kill
- Do not steal
- Respect others
- Do not lie
- Do not drink alcohol.
He also taught us about the life of the Buddha which we found interesting.
Finally, he showed us how to meditate peacefully and many of us joined in this demonstration with him.
